i have a cart is a blazing hybrid of play and performance poetry that resurrects the women of Troy—not as relics of myth, but as urgent, breathing witnesses to the cost of war. Drawing from Homer’s The Iliad and Euripedes’ The Trojan Women, Alexandra Silber crafts a chorus of searing persona poems for Hecuba, Cassandra, Creusa, and Helen—alongside the men who shaped their fates and the anonymous soldiers swallowed by history.
Written in a visceral, modern poetic voice that is as brutal as it is luminous, the piece refuses to look away from devastation while insisting on the strange, defiant beauty of survival.

Yet this classic is now re-told through the eyes of Samantha Spade, a female private detective navigating not just a world of lies, betrayal, and greed, but also the suffocating constraints of gender, sexuality, and survival in a time when her very identity could destroy her.
But this is no mere gender-swap. This is an excavation of the original's themes now viewed through a contemporary lens, offering 21st-century audiences a fresh, vital, and emotionally gripping take on one of the most enduring noir stories of all time, with virtuosic, star-making characters at its core.

Whisper Walk
Whisper Walk, is an immersive, documentary-style radio play originally produced by Dutch Kills Theatre with designer Asa Wember. Premiering at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe and later featured at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe, it blends intimate, whispered personal stories with hyper-specific city locations to explore memory, place, and connection.
Inspired by the Japanese Phone of the Wind, the experience features actors “whispering” personal truth-like stories directly into a single audience member's ear, acting as a confidant to a "stranger on the road".
The 60-minute, site-specific experience features stories, exploring themes of love, loss, and memory tied to specific locations like pubs, parks, or street corners. It premiered at the 2024 Adelaide Fringe Festival, re-mounted in 2025, and was featured at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival to acclaim.
